Bébé Confort, a subsidiary of the firm Dorel, and Fundación MAPFRE are coming together to collaborate on Project Maternity, an NGO that offers support to mothers at risk of social exclusion, taking them in and being there for them during their maternity and the breastfeeding period. In so doing, each party will provide basic staple products for the babies.
The mothers may be victims of gender-based violence, have job insecurity or be at risk of social exclusion. The organization Project Maternity looks after and helps women at this very important time in their lives.
A group of volunteers from Fundación MAPFRE and workers from the Dorel Juvenile group (Bebé Confort) have helped the NGO to prepare baby packs for these mothers.
The packs are made up of safety and baby childcare products: diapers, wipes, creams and other hygiene products. We also recommend you read our guide "Infant and child safety in cars: car seats" (Spaninsh), produced in collaboration with the Fundación MAPFRE in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Midwives' Associations (FAME).
Under the slogan ‘Care for precious life’, Bébé Confort is committed on a daily basis to the safety and well-being of little ones.
For its part, Fundación MAPFRE encourages the integration of groups at risk of social exclusion, offering back-up and support to people in the most disadvantaged of situations and to their families. We promote education as a development tool and we facilitate entry into the labor market. From the Department of Accident Prevention and Road Safety and through the channel https://babyseat.fundacionmapfre.org/ information and advice on road safety for children is provided.
