Children with special needs use different restraint systems to those considered to be the most common on the market, and these greatly depend on individual requirements. There is therefore a range of models according to the age of the child (from carrycots to harnesses), and depending on the different special requirements, which include everything from seats without side restrainers, with cushions, foam or collars for better support; seats that turn to allow better access for getting the child into and out of the vehicle; platforms for wheelchairs, and other types.
